Well sooner or later we have to get started anyway so here goes. Yesterday night we played 2 -cm games with my sister's boyfriend's brother's clan.
The first game was quite the disaster with our push strat. It was quite a fail from us actually, losing fight after fight. I had a pretty fat Prophet(early dagon), CJ had a pretty fast aghanim on Night Stalker too. HS's enigma was jungling so his income is pretty fixed and had his blink pretty early too. Most of the fail was from top lane though(hey no offense but it was pretty bad). Perry's Shadow Shaman and WL's Vengeful Spirit was having a tough time against Magnataur and Warlock. To tell the truth, I didn't think that was the lane that would have trouble(since there was 100000000 disables and Enigma was jungling in scourge side to help top lane) but more like bot lane where CJ was soloing vs Sand King and Ursa. The game was pretty much decided when the opponents had blink on Ursa as well as Magnus. Ursa took out heroes easily and Magnus just destroyed our army of pushing underlings with his cleave. We didn't push much for a pushing type of strategy even though I had it all planned out in my head that we should have destroyed their raxes way before they even got fat enough. CJ also had a hard time trying to like aghanim on NS(but come on dude, its seriously too strong on NS that I think it should even be nerfed) and whined about wanting SnY instead. There was lots of fails with us getting killed while stopping their roshan attempts as well as CJ's solo jungle hunt which ended up in me and him dying when I ported there to help kill. WL did a nice escape some point in the game but he had much bad moments with bad swaps, bad stuns and Perry seriously needs to be a little bit more alert at important times. We didn't even play like we usually could so I felt a little depressed and it ended up with my agitated in-game-preaching(which I have been trying to curb). All I could think of during the game was one word : FUCK!
Well anyways the second game was much more successful. The score at end game was like 40 or 50 to 10 or something. I thought I had a pretty good lion(originally I picked it for Perry but he likes to go "DON'T PICK A FEEDER FOR ME" and yet can have thick enough skin to ask for KotL or even play something like Windrunner) for being the solo supporter(buying chick, buying all the wards alone, running everywhere to stun and hex, though CJ did contribute to crow recipe). The opponents had like Naga Siren, Sladar, Vengeful Spirit, Juggernaut, Viper. Seeing as they had like zero int heroes, I decided Obsidian Destroyer would be pretty effective(even though I promised Perry I would NEVER pick it for him, LOL!) for last pick. I wanted Vengeful Spirit for YH at first but the enemy team picked it just before I did(and we even talked about them picking it just before I did LOL!) so I went for a Zeus instead. I got PotM for CJ and Admiral for HS who asked for it early when we started the game. First blood was gotten by YH at top lane and then followed by a kill from HS at mid lane when I got there to look for the missing Juggernaut and VS. Luckily I died only after they took the FB so that was some luck on our side. HS had a good farm against a solo Viper and pretty much dominated the enemy team alone. YH's Zeus did pretty well farming an early arcane. CJ went for Sny on PotM(c'mon man, what's with you and SnY?) and had some decent arrows. Our ganks weren't successful for a bit because the enemies managed to escape with very low health many times but as it went mid-late game they just crumbled under our increasing pressure. Their heroes were very late game but our heroes had more potential and here we can see how amazing a buriza-ed AP can be. I managed to farm up a ghost sceptor(to counter their physical attacks) and force staff(seriously force staff is IMBA, yet no one likes to buy it), Zeus managed to get agahnim, OD had a guinsoo. It was pretty much GG with us taking down their heroes like nothing due to AP's insanely painful splash(a 800 crit splash is just HOLY CRAP WTF). Even though it was a good game, this solo supporting experience is quite a painful one if you ask me ._. I think with more games I'd still have to be the one contributing to wards and stuff since the others clearly don't want to or don't know how to. Some day I'll just have to teach them about warding when I can so I can get some ganker hero to play :)
